YSL Volupte sheer candy

I never admitted to myself that i really wanted one of these until i was right in front of the YSL counter at Shopper's Stop. I mean, really.. Who needs a 2k sheer lipstick!?!

Well lets not think about that..

I first saw #essibutton raving about it on her youtube channel and i kind of agree with her opinion of spending so much on something that you would get more use out of.. Come on.. We all know we dont use each n every lipstick till the end.

But when its sheer, its easy to apply, moisturizing as well and you reach for it more..

These Volupte candies are basically tinted lip balms in a lux packaging..

Now thats may be too blunt coz look at it

Its a beauty!!!! It screams luxury.. Their lipstick version is all gold where as this one is silver at both the ends.. And in the middle you have the color show with a gold YSL logo carved on top.

The bullet is also tiny bit heavier than you'd imagine.. But i kinda like it.. As subconsciously i relate it to quality!

I tried all the shades and in the end was confused between 06 luscious cherry and 04 succulant pomegranate

The first one is a sheer red.. Gorgeous!

And tge latter is.. Pink with red undertones yet a bit cool.. I cant describe exactly.. And ended up buying this.. Even after the moisturising effect wears off the hint of color lasts a long time so you an build up on that..

Now you would think im crazy coz iv had this for a while but haven't worn it ever since coz im waiting for an exam result and this would be a treat to myslef.. Fingers crossed!
